Thomas Wölfler, one of the two managing directors of Energiewerkstatt, recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with the company. His interest in wind energy began during his training as a mechanical engineer. Starting out as an all-rounder, he acquired extensive know-how through his close collaboration with wind energy pioneer Hans Winkelmeier and worked in all areas of wind energy projects – from site search to commissioning. He subsequently focused on data analysis and eventually became a wind expert at Energiewerkstatt with divisional responsibility. With the generational change in 2020, he was appointed Managing Director together with Andreas Krenn.
