Energiewerkstatt visits wind farm Freiländeralm 2

At the end of September, our planning team visited the wind farm Freiländeralm 2 in Styria, which is currently under construction. Energie Steiermark Green Power GmbH , the owner, is building 15 Vensys 175 turbines here, each with a hub height of 145 meters. Together, they will have an output of 105 MW and generate over 200 GWh of CO2-free electricity per year – enough for around 57,000 households.

Energiewerkstatt has been supporting the project since 2015 with wind measurements, expert reports and services for the turbine decision. We would like to thank project manager Egon Dorner and his colleagues for the invitation, the exciting insights and the good cooperation!
