The Energiewerkstatt is not an employer like others.

New Work for a Sustainable Environment.

"We're not working for anyone, we're working for ourselves and for a sustainable future."

This is not just something we say, it is our mission. We are dedicated to research, development and implementation of projects in the field of sustainable forms of energy – in the form of an association. Every employee can also become a member or not – this means that if you become a member, you can help shape the company in the long term.

We are at home in the middle of the countryside, in Heiligenstatt near Friedburg. In 2023, we will move one house further – we will then move into a freshly renovated, historic building with modern, ergonomic workplaces. From Heiligenstatt we are active all over the world: from Venezuela to Dagestan – and if it’s up to us, in the future we’d like to go beyond.

The energy workshop mainly employs people with a technical and/or scientific background. Most of the people in our team have attended a vocational high school, and some have gone on to study – some while working. Each individual contributes his or her skills and competencies and continues to develop. In principle, all of them are employed on a permanent or unlimited basis, although temporary employment and (vocational) internships are also possible.

Interested parties can look forward to responsible and challenging activities in the future-oriented sector of green energy as well as a highly qualified team, independent work and, of course, fair and performance-based remuneration. In addition, we naturally support professional training – the majority of our employees came to the Energiewerkstatt as career changers.
