In September 2021 the approval notices in the Capreolus project (repowering and extension of the Haindorf wind farm) were obtained, for which Energiewerkstatt carried out the technical planning and optimization on behalf of WIH Windpark GmbH. The complexity of the planning process lay in the selection of a suitable turbine type under the constraints of existing zoning plans, distance requirements to residential areas, the A1 freeway and the OEBB Westbahn railroad, as well as specified noise limits. Despite a smaller number of turbines, an increase in yield of 50% was achieved.
