The Energiewerkstatt sets an example for the promotion of culture and sustainability in the region and supports the Open House of Art and Culture Vöcklabruck – OKH for short – with a sponsorship in the amount of 2,000 euros. “Climate awareness and sustainability play an important role for us as well as for OKH. Appreciative interaction with our surroundings and the environment is part of the culture of both,” summarizes Andreas Krenn, Managing Director of the Energiewerkstatt. As an ever-visible symbol, a charging station for e-vehicles was erected at the OKH parking lot, another step toward sustainable mobility and environmental protection. The charging station will allow visitors to conveniently charge their electric vehicles while making a valuable contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.

OKH for short, is a cultural local supplier and at the same time a space of opportunity for future models in the region: cultural exchange and the diversity of contemporary art form an “urban bay” with an anchor function on the Vöckla. Since 2012, supra-regional impulses have been set on the site of the old hospital – supported, revitalized and further developed by the charitable commitment of many, including the support of the Energiewerkstatt.
