Energiewerkstatt responsible for 120 m wind measurement in Southeast Europe

Energiewerkstatt from Austria is responsible for the wind measurement of a planned wind farm in Southeast Europe. A 120 m high mast is used in combination with a LIDAR measurement campaign. The 120m mast is IEC compliant and equipped with six first class anemometers, two first class wind vanes and two heated 3D-US sensors. If the wind potential proves to be sufficient, the realization of a wind farm with more than 20 wind turbines is planned. To date, the Energiewerkstatt has conducted more than 300 wind measurements worldwide, sometimes in rough terrain and under challenging climatic conditions.
