On the
OVE Innovation Day
with a focus on “Green Tech” in mid-November, business and industry representatives from the electrical engineering and information technology sectors discussed trends, framework conditions and the role of standardization as a driver of innovation. The “IEC 1906 Awards” were presented at the subsequent evening event. As an international standards organization, the IEC is responsible for standards in the field of electrical engineering, electronics and information technology. It unites more than 170 countries worldwide and offers a global, neutral and independent standardization platform for around 20,000 experts.

One of the recipients of the “IEC 1906 Awards” was our Senior Consultant Alexander Stökl for his outstanding expertise and exceptional commitment as Secretary of IEC TC 88/PT 61400-31. The award was initiated in 2004 to recognize the special commitment of experts to international standardization projects. The award was presented to Alexander Stökl by IEC President Jo Cops and Bernhard Spalt, Head of OVE Standardization.

Congratulations from our side too!
