As part of IEA Wind TCP, Energiewerkstatt participated again in this year’s Winterwind conference in Sweden, a panel for exchange between researchers, developers, operators and policymakers in wind energy on the challenges of planning, erecting and operating wind turbines in cold climates. In the course of this, Dipl.-Phys. Claas Rittinghaus reported on the new revision of the “international Recommendations for Ice Fall and Ice Throw Risk Assessment”, which was prepared during the previous working period of IEA Wind TCP Task 19 on “Cold Climate Wind Power”.
